Tank fills terms and conditions

It is now an Australian Standards regulation that all scuba cylinders filled in Australia undergo hydrostatic testing every 12 months.The Dive Shed will not fill any scuba cylinders that are no in ‘test’ (that is, tanks must display a current hydrotest date stamp).The Dive Shed will not fill scuba cylinders without the owner presenting a diver certification card.

Tank Safety

Keep your tanks out of the sun. Stow them securely when traveling or not in use. Scuba tanks explode with more force than a hand grenade. While this doesn’t happen often, we don’t want you turning into an accidental terrorist.

Service

Look no further than The Dive Shed for all your equipment servicing needs.
We recommend that you:

• service your regulators and octopus every 12 months .We are a certified servicing centre for Scuba pro, Cressi, Oceanic, Mares, Aqualung, Apex, Sherwood, IST and many more.
• check all your hoses, o-rings, and power inflator after every dive
• check your BC at the start of every season to ensure it is air tight,
• still maintains its lift capacity, and check your integrated weight pockets for signs of weakness
• schedule your scuba cylinders for hydrotesting every 12 months
